Arnold Schwarzenegger Puts Movie Career on Hold

Guess whyyyyyyyyy...?

We don't report on celebrity gossip here at the Crave Online Film Channel, because we don't care. I mean, yeah, we're as morbidly curious as the rest of you but we're not going to report on the sex lives of actors when it has nothing to do with their actual work. This is an exception: Arnold Schwarzenegger's swiftly publicized personal problems have led the actor to cancel all his plans for a movie comeback, at least for the foreseeable future.

Yes, the former California Governor apparently has an illegitimate lovechild on the way, and the pervasive – and largely negative – publicity has made him understandably jittery about choosing this exact moment to try to regain the hearts of audiences everywhere. In a statement made on MSNBC, Schwarzenegger's representatives released the following, short statement:

"Gov. Schwarzenegger is focusing on personal matters and is not willing to commit to any production schedules or timelines… This includes 'Cry Macho,' the 'Terminator' franchise and other projects under consideration. We will resume discussions when Gov. Schwarzenegger decides."

So basically… nevermind. If this disheartens you, don't worry about it. After all…

He'll be back.

Crave Online will report back on more Arnold Schwarzenegger movie news once he gets all this crap sorted out.
