All 26 episodes of the hit supernatural drama "Lost Girl," starring Anna Silk "The Ghost Whisperer") as the sexy Bo, have been acquired by the American network Syfy.
"Lost Girl" follows supernatural seductress Bo, a Succubus who feeds on the sexual energy of humans. Growing up with human parents, Bo had no reason to believe she was anything other than the girl next door – until she accidentally drained her boyfriend to death in their first sexual encounter. She discovers she is one of the Fae, creatures of legend and folklore who pass as humans while feeding off them secretly and in different ways, as they have for hundreds of years. Relieved yet horrified to find out that she is not alone, Bo decides to take the middle path between the humans and the Fae while embarking on a personal mission to unlock the secrets of her origin.
"Lost Girl" debuted on Showcase Television in September 2010 and was renewed for a second season exactly two months later. Developed as well as produced by Prodigy Pictures, the "Lost Girl" cast also includes Pickering's own Kris Holden-Ried ("The Bridge" and "The Listener"), LA's own beauty Ksenia Solo ("Life Unexpected"), and Richard Howland ("Billable Hours" and "Tin Man").
“In one year, 'LostGirl' has electrified viewers in Canada and around the world. We’re delighted to bring this fascinating, high-octane series, which depicts a unique world and memorable heroine, to the Syfy audience,” said Thomas Vitale, executive VP, programming at Syfy, to Entertainment Weekly.
