The independent film, Dragonslayer, directed by Tristan Patterson, has hit the film festival circuit this year, garnering critical attention for exemplifying the struggles and triumphs of the skateboarding lifestyle in the suburbs of Fullerton, California. Dragonslayer is based on the Bohemian, fast-paced lifestyle of local skate-legend, Josh "Skreech" Sandoval, as he attempts to grapple the challenges of being a new father in a competitive skateboarding environment, all amidst partying, drugs, and youthful non-conformist idealism.

Building off the momentum of the prior Drag City release, Harmony Korine's Trash Humpers, Dragonslayer is sure to engage audiences with its fair share of provocative content, further supported by an indie rock soundtrack featuring, Best Coast, Bipolar Bear, Children, Dungen, Eddy Current and the Suppression Ring, Golden Triangle, Jacuzzi Boys, Little Girls, Real Estate, The Soft Pack, Saviours, as well as DEATH and Thee Oh Sees.
