A week ago it was announced that the "Live! With Kelly" show would tape its finale in Banff, Alberta on April 5th – it also just came out that Ben Mulroney, son of former Prime Minister Brian Mulroney and a host on "eTalk" along with "Canadian Idol," will be Kelly Ripa's guest co-host for the final episode.

The talk show will actually film episodes from April 2-5 in Banff from the Eric Harvie Theatre at The Banff Centre, a national arts training center located in the heart of the Canadian Rockies.

"Kelly Ripa and Michael Gelman are quite simply the best at what they do, and they do it with charm, humour and an energy all their own," said Ben Mulroney in the same release. "Canada loves 'Live! With Kelly,' as does 'eTalk,' and it will be a great honour to sit next to Kelly and soak up anything and everything she and Michael have to offer!"

"eTalk" will be on the grounds with "Live!" for all the fun and excitement in Banff, with Mulroney anchoring "etalk" on location on Friday, March 30 and Monday, April 2 at 7pm on CTV. Additional "Live! With Kelly" co-hosts as well as celebrity guests for the Banff shows will be announced in the coming weeks. Ripa and her co-hosts will also head out of The Banff Centre to experience Banff National Park's wonderland of winter sports.

Travel Alberta shelled out an incredible $1.5 million to secure the deal with "Live!" However, Bruce Okabe, Travel Alberta CEO, was quick to point out in an interview with The Canadian Press,"The $1.5 million is not cash coming out of Travel Alberta's pocket… We have syndicated a whole lot of that investment in cash and in kind to several partners, including Air Canada, who is going to be offering up flights for cast, crew and celebrities, Brewster Transportation, the Fairmont Hotel."
