With the NBA and NHL Finals both over and the NFL not yet into their preseason, many see this time of the year as a 'lull' in sports. Personally, I think it should be viewed as an opportunity to watch different sporting events that you would normally never get into. Besides the ever constant summer staple, which is baseball of course, this week provides us with some College World Series games as well as some WNBA, lacrosse, and even some Major League Soccer action.

(NBA) 2012 NBA Draft 7:30 pm ESPN- This is my event of the week. As a Cleveland Cavaliers fan, I am anxious to see how this draft plays out. The Cavs own the 4th and 24th pick in the first round, as well as a few second round picks that could be packaged with that late first rounder — which could move them into the lottery again. With a good draft, Cleveland could be back in the mix of things in the Eastern Conference in a year or so. Check out the draft to see how your favorite team fares.
