A.J. Cook is a Canadian television and film actress. She is best known for playing Jennifer "J.J." Jareau on the CBS drama "Criminal Minds" as well as Kimberly Corman in the 2003 film "Final Destination 2."
Andrea Joy "A.J." Cook was born in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada on July 22, 1978. She has three siblings and is the daughter of Sandra and Mike Cook, a psychiatrist and school teacher, respectively. Although she has been acting since she was a teenager, like many fellow actors, she started out as a dancer when she was little. In fact, she competed in jazz, tap and ballet from the age of 4. Of course, by the time she turned 16, she decided to focus her efforts on becoming an actor instead.
