Greer Grammer is an American actress and former beauty queen. She is most famous for her role as Lissa on the MTV series "Awkward."
Kandace Greer Grammer was born on February 15, 1992 in Los Angeles, California to make-up artist Barrie Buckner and actor Kelsey Grammer. Named after actress Greer Garson, it seemed written in the stars that she would follow down the acting path herself. Since her parents were never actually married, Greer was raised by her mother in Malibu, California. By age 5, he was already acting in local theater productions, but put that aside as a teenage when she decided to turn her focus to beauty pageants.
Greer entered her first pageant in 2008, winning the title of Miss Teen Malibu. From there, she placed in the top ten in the Miss California Teen competition. The following year, she again retained the title of Miss Teen Malibu and, also again, finished in the top ten in the Miss California Teen competition. She finished in the top ten for the third year in a row the following year, and also won the title of Miss Regional California Teen in 2011. After finishing once again in the top ten at the Miss California Teen 2011 competition in Thousand Oaks, California, Greer retired from beauty pageants in favor of an acting career.
Since her modeling days came to an end, Greer has played several prominent roles in moves such as "Almost Kings," "Chastity Bites," and "Life Partners." But she is known best for her role on the MTV series "Awkward.," which she starred in for four seasons from 2011 to 2014.
