Born on April 11, 1984 in Bakersfield, California, Kelli Brianne Garner is an American actress.
Growing up, Kelli Garner lived in Thousand Oaks, California and was a talented soccer player. In fact, she imaged one day turning pro. She got into acting after being “discovered” at a friend’s Bar Mitzvah. “I’m doing a limbo dance in a really short skirt. Afterwards, this guy comes up and says, ‘Well, aren’t you cute’ and gives me his card. Turns out he was in the film business and six months later I was doing adverts and trying out for movies.”
After a few acting courses, (in which she once pretended to be a variety of animals) she landed in a waffle commercial for Eggo. She made her film debut at the age of 16 in “Architecture of Reassurance.” Other roles followed, including parts in Larry Clark’s “Bully,” in which Kelli was so convincing in her audition as a drug user that a future “casting director was afraid to audition her since they mistakenly believed her character was a real person and not an actor” (askmen.com).
In high school, Kelli Garner said, “I was very shy and wish I could have been more outgoing ‘cause there is so much I wanted to say…I just tended to be more of an observer, which I guess makes me an actor, ‘cause eventually I learned how to tunnel that into being expressive.” Because of her absence on film sets, she was home-schooled.

Kelli Garner has also appeared in “The Aviator,” “Thumbsucker,” “Lars and The Real Girl,” “Man of the House” and “Pan Am.”
Kelli said of herself: “Okay, sure, I have a body. I’ve had one since I was 16. But the attention it brings me, in life as well as in the industry, makes me really uncomfortable.”
Kelli Garner has played World of Warcraft online and was a level 38 night elf for the Alliance. She also plays guitar and writes her own songs. She said in a later interview, “I’m a geek.”
She has been romantically linked with Keanu Reeves, Logan Marshall-Green and Johnny Galecki. She told Men’s Health, “I want a guy who can clean my gutters and kill my spiders – who’s simple yet layered.” She added, “I seem to be attracted to the quiet, brooding type. But not too brooding…I like quiet. I like a little withdrawn. I like men who are more in their heads.”
Kelli Garner lives in Calabasas, California.
