Laura Ramsey is an American actress. She has appeared in numerous films including "She's the Man," "The Ruins," and "Kill the Irishman."
Laura Jill Ramsey was born in Brandon, Wisconsin on November 14, 1982. She graduated from Laconia High School in Rosendale, Wisconsin. After this, she attended Ripon College, also in Wisconsin. Soon thereafter, she moved to Los Angeles.
Laura was only 19 when she moved to LA. While waiting tables on Sunset Boulevard, she was discovered by a talent agent and brought in to audition for a role in the reality film "The Real Cancun," which revolved around spring break in the Mexican destination. By 2004, she had landed a role on the television series "The Days" as a character named Natalie Day. After several small roles in 2005 in films such as "Lords of Dogtown" and "Venom," she was cast in a role as the female love interest to Amanda Bynes character in "She's the Man" in 2006, the film that first put Laura on the map. The very same year, she also starred in another popular film, "The Covenant," alongside Sebastian Stan and Taylor Kitsch.

Since then, Laura has starred in a string of films, including "The Ruins," "Middle Men," and "Kill the Irishman." She also made a brief, but memorable, appearance on AMC's hit series "Mad Men" in 2008. In 2012, she starred in the Luke Evans vehicle "No One Lives." 2013 has already seen Laura star in the film "Awful Nice" alongside Christopher Meloni and Keeley Hazell. Later in 2013, she is set to star in "The Sopranos" and "Mad Men" creator Matthew Weiner's film "You Are Here." The film also stars Zach Galifianakis, Owen Wilson, and Jenna Fischer.
In her free time, Laura enjoys basketball, volleyball, gymnastics, roller-skating, and swimming. She is also a talented pianist and Alto saxophone player. Between breaks from movie and television roles, she also enjoys globetrotting to destinations around the world.
