Lorenza Izzo is a Chilean model and actress. She is best known in the U.S. for her roles in films such as "Aftershock" (2012) and "The Green Inferno" (2014).
Lorenza Izzo Parsons was born in Santiago de Chile, Chile on January 13, 1992 and currently resides in Los Angeles, California. The daughter of famous model Rosita Parsons, it stood to reason that Lorenza would follow in her mother's footsteps. Sure enough, by the age of 17, she was already making a splash in the world of modeling. By June 2010, she was even chosen as the new face of Brazilian fashion company, Colcci, in her native Chile during Fashion Week in Sao Paulo.
Prior to her modeling career, Lorenza had graduated from Santiago College in 2007, as well as studied journalism at the University of the Andes in Chile before making her way to the United States. It was while there that she began taking acting lessons. While this did not result in film roles right away, by 2011 she was cast in her first feature film, "Que pena tu boda." This lead to being cast in the Chilean-American film "Aftershock," which co-starred horror director Eli Roth.
Due to working with Roth in "Aftershock," Lorenza was cast in his film "The Green Inferno," a film shot on location in the Amazon. Her performance in the film lead to Roth casting her in his next feature "Knock, Knock" alongside Keanu Reeves. Along with this, Lorenza was also able to book roles in both "Sex Ed" and "Bad Blood," which were released in 2014.
