Meredith Hagner is an American television and film actress. She was originally known for her role as Liberty Ciccone on the soap opera "As the World Turns," but has gone on to star in "Royal Pains" and "Men at Work" among several other television and film roles.
Best known for her first starring role on the daytime soap opera "As the World Turns," Meredith Hagner has had quite an impressive acting career for the relatively short time she's been in the business. Some of her most notable acting credits outside daytime television include recurring roles on series such as "Lights Out," "Royal Pains," and "Men at Work." She has also played guest roles on such popular series as "In Plain Sight," "The Following," and "Louie," along with landing a number of big screen roles in films such as "Going the Distance" and "Damsels in Distress."
Yes, Meredith has certainly come a very long way from her humble beginnings. Born in Chapel Hill, North Carolina on May 31, 1987, she moved around a bit during her younger years between locations such as Texas and New York before graduating form Chapel Hill High School in 2005. From there, it was onto The Boston Conservatory, where she studied the performing arts for a year before moving to New York to further pursue acting opportunities.
While in New York, Meredith was able to land a number of auditions for roles in advertisements for brands such as Radio Shack, Levi's, and Subway. By 2008, she was making her screen debut on CBS' "As the World Turns" as the young Liberty Ciccone. She was even nominated for a Daytime Emmy for "Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series" in 2009. Of course, we told you already where the story goes from there.
