Sara Paxton is an American actress best known for her roles in films such as "Superhero Movie," "The Last House on the Left," and "Shark Night 3D." She also starred on the TV series, "Darcy's Wild Life."
The word determined does not even begin to describe actress, Sara Paxton, who at the tender age of six made a deal with her mother that if she was able to land an acting role in a commercial, her mother would then let her take up acting as a career. Sure enough, upon auditioning for her first commercial, she won the part, and the rest is history. But since this is a biography, after all, we are going to tell it to you anyways.
Sara was born in Woodland Hills, California on April 25, 1988. On only child, she was raised in a traditional Mexican household, as her mother was born there and her father was of mixed descent. Therefore, Sara is bilingual as well. When she was young, she was given the choice to either attend public school, or be taught at home. She opted for public, and graduated high school in May of 2006. Throughout school, however, she made it a point to audition for as many roles as she possibly could, with her first official big screen debut taking place in the film "Liar Liar" in 1997, where she played the role of "Child at Party and School."
Of course, the small potatoes of Sara's first official acting role was nothing compared to what was to come. After numerous small roles on both the big and small screens, she was finally cast in recurring roles on the series "Greetings from Tucson" and "Summerland," both of which helped her a great deal in getting her face out into the world. It wasn't long before Sara was being seen everywhere, from starring roles on TV series such as "Darcy's Wild Life" and "The Beautiful Life: TBL" to films like "The Last House on the Left" and "The Innkeepers."
