Tuppence Middleton is an English film and television actress. She is most famous for her roles in films such as "Jupiter Ascending," "The Imitation Game" and "Trance," as well as the Netflix series "Sense8."
Tuppence Middleton may be a quirky name, but it fits its recipient like a glove. Born in Bristol, England on February 21, 1987, she was given her first name by parents Tina and Nigel Middleton because it was her mother's nickname as a child. The middle child of three, Tuppence spent her youth heavily involved school plays before eventually attending the Arts Educational School in Chiswick, London. There, she was able to attain her honors degree in acting.
Like many actresses before her, Tuppence's career started off small, but built significantly in a relatively short amount of time. After building somewhat of a cult following for her role as Justine in the 2009 horror comedy "Tormented," her television career began to gain major speed with a number of recurring roles on series like "Sinbad," "Inspector Lewis" and "Spies of Warsaw." All the while, her career as a film actress slowly began to take shape.

By 2015, Tuppence could definitely be considered a bona fide move star, but it certainly didn't come without much effort on her end. Roles in films such as 2012's "Clearskin" and 2013's "Trance" paved the way for much more high profile roles in movies such as "The Imitation Game" and "Jupiter Ascending." While the films themselves performed to various levels of success, they certainly did nothing but good things for the young British actress' career.
The year 2015 also saw Tuppence's mass appeal hit new heights. With the addition of her role on the popular Netflix series "Sense8," her reach now extended to streaming media, proving once and for all that she was out to make a name for herself by any and all means necessary.
