Vanessa Ferlito is an American television and film actress. She has starred on such series as "24," "CSI: NY," and "Graceland," as well as appeared in films like "Spider-Man 2," "Death Proof," and "Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps."
Vanessa Ferlito was born on December 28, 1980 in Brooklyn, New York. Although she is of Italian American descent, the roles she is cast in often having her playing Latinas.
Vanessa got her start as an actress starring in the independent film, "On_Line," which centered around the creation of an adult website, in 2002. From there, she started guest starring on a number of series being shot in her native Brooklyn such as "Third Watch" and "Law & Order." Her first recurring role was on the hit FOX drama "24," where she played the love interest to the Jack Bauer character during the series third season. The role lead to several more guest spots on series such as "The Sopranos" and "CSI: Miami" before she made her big screen debut as Louise in 2002's "Spider-Man 2."
The very same year as her "Spider-Man 2" gig, Vanessa was cast in her most recognizable role to date on CBS' "CSI: NY," where she played Detective Aiden Burn for the series' first two seasons. This high profile gig only opened more doors for the up-and-coming actress, as she then went on to book roles in such films as "Death Proof," "Madea Goes to Jail," and "Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps" in 2010.
Since her career got off the ground, Vanessa has once again booked a starring role on the 2013 USA series "Graceland," where she plays a character by the name of Catherine 'Charlie' DeMarco. Her career only continues to build steam, having booked the starring role in "The Aftermath," a film co-starring "True Blood's" Sam Trammell, the following year.
