Kanye's month-long Twitter silence came to a cryptic end yesterday, when the superstar rapper announced a new album from his G.O.O.D. Music roster.

Last night, the Watch The Throne collaborator simply wrote, "GOODMUSIC.THE ALBUM.SPRING2012." His label imprint and management company, which stands for "Getting Out Our Dreams," will now join the ranks with Young Money and Maybach Music Group with a new group album.

The current G.O.O.D. Music roster includes Kanye, Common, John Legend, Big Sean, Kid Cudi, Malik Yusef, Mr Hudson, Cyhi Da Prynce, Mos Def, Pusha T, D'banj and Teyana Taylor. In other words, we're going to have a beast on our hands when this one arrives.

Fans will remember a barrage of free releases Kanye offered via Twitter in the run-up to the release of his My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy album last winter, featuring a number of the aforementioned collaborators as well as a few others. Here's a particular highlight from the reunited Child Rebel Soldier (Kanye, Pharrell & Lupe Fiasco):

Def Jam Records has alsotweeted about the G.O.O.D. Music album, confirming that they will be involved in releasing and promoting the set.
