Radiohead have announced that they will return to the UK later this year in order to play three arena shows.

The first shall take place in Manchester's Evening News Arena, before the Oxford band head to London in order to perform two shows at the O2 Arena on October 8th and 9th. My thoughts on this announcement can be summarised thusly:

radiohead, Y U NO PLAY BIRMINGHAM?

The band is currently in the middle of an extensive North American tour in promotion of their latest album 'The King Of Limbs'. The US shows have seen them debut two new songs, 'Identikit' and 'Cut A Hole', which you can listen to right here on CraveOnline.

Radiohead's US tour shall conclude with them playing a set at Coachella festival, with them also playing at Fuji Rock Festival and Portugal's Optimus Alive Festival. Unfortunately, it is looking unlikely that they will play any UK festivals this year. However, they are already being rumoured as one of the headline acts for next years' Glastonbury (aren't they always?).
