ChAIR Entertainment’s incredible iOS title Infinity Blade is getting another free update this Thursday, May 19. The new update brings with it something that Infinity Blade fans (myself included) have been clamoring for since launch: 1v1 multiplayer via Apple’s Game Center. Now that it's finally a reality, it's time to brush up on those skills before stepping into the online arena.

Furthermore, you can expect a new mode called “Survivor” in this latest update, which throws down the glove and challenges players to survive an endless gauntlet of Titan battles. Much like previous updates to Infinity Blade, there will be new weapons, armors, items added. There will also be Facebook integration introduced, allowing players to share their characters through some sort of magical, easy-to-use process. The science is beyond us, really.

The free to download update drops on the App Store this Thursday. Snatch it up if you already own Infinity Blade. There’s no reason not to. And for those who don’t own it, buy it and grab the update in the process. You’ll be living in a better world, promise.
