As "Game Thrones" heads into its final four episodes of the season, Ned Stark (Sean Bean) has learned the secrets that the Lannisters have tried so desperately to keep; which may plunge the seven kingdoms into an all-out war.
For the last two episodes, Ned's bastard son, Jon Snow (Kit Harington) has been offscreen while training at the Wall. But in this newly released clip from HBO, Jon and his fellow recruits are given a warning about their solemn oath to join the men of the Night's Watch.
And in the second clip of the week, the Starks' advisor, Maester Luwin (Donald Sumpter) interrogates the Wildling woman known as Osha (Natalia Tena), who was captured and spared in the last episode by Robb Stark (Richard Madden) and Theon Greyjoy (Alfie Allen).
HBO has also released a synopsis for the next episode, "You Win or You Die;" which introduces us to Tywin Lannister, the patriarch of Westros' most powerful family.
Explaining that the future of the Lannisters is at stake, Tywin (Charles Dance) presses Jaime to "be the man you were meant to be" as they prepare for battle. Ned confronts Cersei about the secrets that killed Jon Arryn. With the fate of the missing Benjen (Joseph Mawle) very much on his mind, Jon Snow takes his Night’s Watch vows, though not with the assignment he coveted. After Ser Jorah (Iain Glenn) saves Daenerys from treachery, an enraged Drogo vows to lead the Dothraki where they’ve never gone before. An injured Robert takes pains to ensure an orderly transition at King’s Landing.
