In the most recent episode of "True Blood," the witch Antonia (Fiona Shaw) scared even her coven as she enslaved Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard) and plotted to kill Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer). Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) also found an unlikely ally in the form of Debbie Pelt (Brit Morgan), helped her sneak into Marnie's Emporium where she discovered that Tara Thornton (Rutina Wesley), Holly Cleary (Lauren Bowles) and the rest of Marnie's coven was now being held against their will by Antonia.
When Sookie's attempt to free Eric from Antonia's spell failed, Sookie raced to warn Bill of the threat against his life at the very public vampire tolerance event.
But our first preview clip this week completely sidesteps the main plot and returns us to Jason Stackhouse (Ryan Kwanten) and Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll), who gave into their passion in the back of Jason's pickup truck. Now Jason is feeling very guilty about betraying his best friend Hoyt (Jim Parrack) and Jessica insists that they did nothing wrong.
Last week's episode also saw the end of the long-running possessed doll storyline; which could have ended tragically due to Andy Bellefleur's (Chris Bauer) increasingly erratic behavior while high on V. In the second clip of the week, Andy's cousin Terry Bellefleur (Todd Lowe) and his wife, Arlene (Carrie Preston) confront Andy with a dose of V that he had hidden in the house.
And finally, the last clip of the week returns to Marnie's coven, who discover that the spell cast by Antonia to keep them there is more powerful than they had hoped… but Tara and Holly aren't ready to give up yet.
As the season starts to wind down, HBO has released the synopsis for this episode and the full trailer.
