This past weekend Activision hosted the inaugural Call of Duty fan convention, Call of Duty XP. We’re sorry if you weren’t able to attend. Truly, we are. But now we’re bringing a bite-sized taste of the experience back to you via video.
Our own camera man extraordinaire Mike Breiburg and freelancer Adam Robert Thomas were at the event to soak up everything Call of Duty related that they could. They went hands-on with Modern Warfare 3, played paintball and listened to some phat rhymes from Kayne West. At least that’s what we like to think they did when they weren’t interviewing some of the industry folk behind the massively hyped Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Activision’s upcoming Call of Duty unification service, Call of Duty Elite.
Mr. Adam Robert Thomas got a chance to chat with Mark Rubin, executive producer at Infinity Ward working on Modern Warfare 3, and Noah Heller, Beachhead Studios product developer working on CoD Elite. You can watch his interviews with both industry professionals below.
