The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword

We'll call this one a classic "media dump." Why? No idea. It seems fitting. We've got a lot of media, it came with no official press release and we're feeling downright shitty today.

Thus, the media dump.

Nintendo released three separate trailers for The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword today on their official, password restricted media hub. We're doing our duty and collecting them together in one single space for your viewing pleasure.

We'll start with the best of the mix, in our opinions: the tutorial trailer. This one's got the most actual gameplay footage to offer…plus, the music is goofy in the best, most Zelda way possible.

I wasn't necessarily a big fan of the first Zelda for the Wii; Twilight Princess felt forced onto the new platform and didn't necessarily serve as a good excuse for motion control. Waggling, jiggling and wiggling for sword action just wasn't fun.

However, Skyward Sword makes proper use of Wii MotionPlus. The one-to-one sword slicing action within felt spectacular at this year's E3, and it may actually stand as the best use of the tech to-date.

That, coupled with the epic feeling, the art style and the shear size of this new adventure, is what's got me so damn excited for Skyward Sword

This title launches on November 20th. I'll leave you with the other two trailers shown off today.
