Fantasy Football Focus: Week 4

A quarter of the way through the regular season.

James LeBeauby James LeBeau

Is it me or is it hard to believe we are entering week 4 of the NFL season. It seems like yesterday that we were even wondering if there was even going to be a season. It's crazy how time flies. Remember, fantasy nuts, this is the last week you will have all your players available for a while as by weeks start next week. So make sure you take a look at your rosters and plan accordingly.

Start of the Week

Ryan Fitzpatrick, Buffalo Bills (at Cin)

Fitzpatrick, my premier sleeper before the season started, has been on fire this year so far. He is, stats wise, the number 4 QB so far this year in standard scoring leagues. This trend of excellence should continue this week as the bills face off against the woeful Cincinnati Bengals. The Bengals best side of the ball so far this season has been the defensive side but they have yet to face an offense clicking like Buffalo's is. This week won't be pretty for Cincy fans.

Last Week Result: Steve Smith, Carolina Panthers: 2 rec, 15 yards

Sit of the Week

Colt McCoy, Cleveland Browns (at TEN)

McCoy has been a solid performer so far this season, nothing too flashy but solid. This week, however, he is facing a surprising Titans defense that is currently ranked second against the pass , allowing only 172 yards a game. If Cleveland is going to pull off the upset, they will do it on the ground so I recommend you ground McCoy for this week.

Last Weeks Results: Felix Jones, Dallas Cowboys: 155 total Yards, 1 fum
