There is positively nothing we here at CraveOnline absolutely love more than unnecessary meaningless violence. Throw in some cheap, cheesy underscoring and what do you have? Gold. Solid gold, baby.
Now imagine a a way to put it all together in a couple-minutes-long clip, and you have yourself a Killcount video. We've done some digging and found some of the most over-the-top, blood-laden, explosion rich clips we can find. All in the name of entertainment.
Take a look for yourself at some of the best:
1. Crank: High Voltage
Jason Statham is no stranger to violence, but at the same time, there is something so absolutely hysterical about the seriousness of his action against such an absurd setting. It's hard not to laugh.
2. Robocop 2
If we know anything about sequels, it's that they have to be bigger and badder than the first one. Always. And Robocop 2 is no different. My favorite part is when he shoot the sniper in the eye ball. It's also quite entertaining as Robocop rarely looks in the direction he is shooting.
3. Hard Target
Van-Damme in the early nineties is like an even-year cabernet — rich, full-bodied, and leaves you with a warm, fuzzy feeling. He's no different in this John Woo classic, Hard Target.
It wouldn't be a list without a little Arnie.
This video is the inspiration behind this list. It walks this beautiful line between making you want to puke and strange absurdist beauty, similar to a Beckett play. Enjoy.
And lastly… well, more or less just because I think this may be the funniest clip of them all.
CraveOnline is funny because the government says so.
