Details are still coming in, but Apple has released a statement via their web site indicating that Steve Jobs has died. The Apple co-founder was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer several years ago and had been undergoing treatment. In August, Jobs resigned as CEO of Apple and named Tim Cook as his successor.
Steve Jobs was a visionary who helped change the way people work and communicate, and we offer our condolences to his family, friends and co-workers.
