The sixth season of "Dexter" has been insane… and that was before Debra Morgan (Jennifer Carpenter) had a romantic dream about her adopted brother, Dexter Morgan (Michael C. Hall)!

The primary adversary has been Travis Marshall (Colin Hanks) aka the Doomsday Killer, who has terrorized Miami with a wave of murders inspired by the Book of Revelation. Travis is a darker reflection of Dexter himself, with his own dark passenger and his own loving sister, both of whom he killed in his mad quest to bring about the end of the world. But this Sunday night, the storyline comes to a finish with "This Ts The Way The World Ends."

SPOILERS AHEAD For The Season Finale!

When we last saw Dexter, he was adrift in the ocean after Travis ignited his "Lake of Fire" and sped off in Dexter's beloved "Slice of Life" boat. In the first preview clip from "This Ts The Way The World Ends," Dexter apparently made it back to shore safely… and just in time for Debra, Mike Anderson (Billy Brown), Joey Quinn (Desmond Harrington),  Angel Batista (David Zayas)  and the rest of Miami Metro attempt to figure out what Travis' next move will be…

And in the second preview scene from the season finale, Travis targets the person closest to Dexter… his young son, Harrison. Weeks ago, Dexter passed on several chances to kill Travis and end his reign of terror. Dexter couldn't stop Trinity from killing his wife, Rita… and now it looks like history is repeating itself. Will Harrison fall to the same fate as his mother? Or will he survive and develop a dark passenger of his own?

Don't miss the season finale of "Dexter," this Sunday night at 9PM only on Showtime!
