Podcast Review: You Know What Dude? w/ Bob Kelly

Get the skinny on the Robert Kelly's own Comedy Podcast: You Know What Dude?

If you’re a fan of The Opie and Anthony Show on SirusXM’s popular comedy station or a fan of Louie on FX, you’re probably somewhat familiar with Bob Kelly. He’s abrasive, he’s a know-it-all, he's blunt, and he’s very funny. He’s the host of the You Know What Dude? podcast available now on iTunes.

His weekly show feature guests from the world of comedy both big and small alike, such as comedians Joe DeRosa, Dan Soder, and Colin Quinn stepping in occasionally to play devil’s advocate to Kelly’s candid nature. Topics of discussion range from fornication with transsexuals, life as a comic, addiction, everyday gripes, complaints, and Kelly’s own take on the news of the day.

His episodes with Joe DeRosa stand out as the two feed of one another’s energy leaving the listener something that sounds like the mash-up between two great friends shootin’the breeze and domestic abuse happening the next apartment over.

The bottom line is this: Like with any podcast, the ball tends to take a little while to get rolling, but once it does it’s fantastic. But, if you’re a fan of east-coast comics and often get a kick out of cringe-style humor at it’s best than this is the podcast for you. Or, if you’re looking to check out something new at work or trying to kill some time on the ole elliptical than there is no reason not to check out You Know What Dude?

How Much? Free on iTunes. Duh.
