It's been a long time coming, but HBO Go is finally arriving on Xbox 360 on April 1, 2012, just in time for the season two premiere of Game of Thrones. Hells. Yes.

HBO's Co-president, Eric Kessler, made the announcement yesterday during an HBO event in San Francisco, reports Engadget. Come April 1st, you'll be able to watch basically every series, movie and special HBO has ever put out through your Xbox 360 as long as you're an Xbox Live Gold member and subscriber to HBO through your cable provider.

Sure, it's a lot of hoops to jump through to get HBO Go up and running on your Xbox 360, but the convenience factor of having everything HBO offers at your finger tips surely outweighs the checklist of requirements necessary to enjoy the service. So mark your calendar for April 1st, because winter (and a lot of other awesome shit) is coming to Xbox 360 on that day.
