If you're a fan of Tom Six's admittedly repugnant Human Centipede movies, you were probably wondering how the writer/director was going to top himself for the third (and presumably last) installment, The Human Centipede 3: Final Sequence. The first film followed a mad scientist played by Dieter Laser, who created a three person "human centipede" by surgically attaching his victims anus-to-mouth. Pretty vile. The second film followed a demented parking attendant played by Laurence R. Harvey, whose obsession with the first film led him to create a 12 person human centipede of his own, including the original film's star Ashlynn Yennie (playing herself), using cruder methods.
Now we have word that the third film will feature both Dieter Laser and Laurence R. Harvey, in addition to Tom Six, who will play a supporting role as himself according to Entertainment Weekly. Given the franchise's tendency for meta-humor, it's entirely possible that Laser and Harvey will be playing themselves as well. Whether or not they are joining forces in a supervillain team-up sort of plotline is unclear, but it's easy to imagine such a scenario playing out. Come to think of it, it's easy to imagine any scenario playing out in the unrepentently grotesque franchise that, quite frankly, we love here at CraveOnline.
One final bit of news from this item: You may remember that the first film's tag line declared that it was "100% Medically Accurate." This time out, producer Ilona Six (Tom's sister) declares that The Human Centipede 3: Final Sequence will be "100% Politically Incorrect."
CraveOnline will be back with more Human Centipede news after we refill our stapleguns.
