We're doing something a little special this week with The B-Movies Podcast: a very special bonus episode with our guests Chris Kentis and Laura Lau, the directors/writers/producers of this weekend's horror release, Silent House, starring Elizabeth Olsen. In the film, Olsen plays a young woman trapped in a house, besieged on all sides, in real time. That means: one minute in the theater equals one minute for Elizabeth Olsen's character. Kentis and Lau, who also brought you the harrowing shark thriller Open Water, shot the film in what appears to be a single, unedited take. They dropped by to talk to William "Bibbs" Bibbiani and Professor Witney Seibold about the film's complex camerawork, the magic of Elizabeth Olsen's sexy tank top, the cast member who completely ruined a take (and got fired!), and their Hurricane Katrina and U.S.S. Indianapolis movies that still haven't made it off the ground.
Silent House opens March 9. Don't forget to come back this Friday for your regular weekly dose of The B-Movies Podcast!
