This season on "Justified," U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens (Timothy Olyphant) has been butting heads with Robert Quarles (Neal McDonough) of the Detroit mob. But even though the season is only half over, FX is doubling down on Raylan.
Earlier today, FX announced that it has officially renewed "Justified" for a fourth season of 13 episodes, presumably to debut in January 2013. Back in 2010, "Justified" was developed by Graham Youst and based upon Elmore Leonard's short story, "Fire In The Hole;" which introduced Raylan Givens. It has gone on to become one of FX's most popular dramas, with the third season averaging 4.3 million viewers per episode.
“There are many reasons all of us on 'Justified' are grateful to get a chance to do another season,” said Yost. “We get to do more work with amazing actors, writers, producers, directors, musicians, editors and a jaw-droppingly talented crew.”
“'Justified' is one of television’s best series and this season has reinforced that excellence,” added Nick Grad, FX’s Executive Vice President of Original Programming.
The final six episodes of the third season of "Justified" continue to air Tuesdays on FX.
