Podcast: Next Gen News #106: Hijacked!

The Podcast switcheroo continues with Crave's resident film buffs taking over the gaming podcast. Listen in to find out their votes for the 10 best games of the 1990s.

We hope you weren't expecting the regular stable of panelists — Erik Norris, Joey Davidson and Mike White — for episode #106 of Next Gen News. Because you absolutely will not find them here (check out this week's The Idiot Box *wink wink*). Instead, Next Gen News has been hijacked by CraveOnline's film crew, William Bibbiani, Witney Seibold and special guest Adam Thomas. That's right, the B-Movies Podcast team is talking video games. It's raining cats and dogs. Pigs are flying. And everyone's wearing permanently popped collar Ed Hardy shirts. Anarchy.

On this week's show, Bibbs, "The Professor," and "The Expert" (I'll let you figure out which is which) throw down the gauntlet, choosing to break down the top ten games of the 1990s*. There is shouting; there is crying; and there are dick jokes as the crew discusses "the pinball boom of the 1990s" and more.

If you enjoyed the B-Movies crew here on Next Gen News, be sure to check out their regularly scheduled program, The B-Movies Podcast, in the film section of CraveOnline.com. You can also follow each member on Twitter.

Adam Thomas

Lastly, seeing as how Mr. Adam Thomas is a special guest here at Crave, you'll have to go elsewhere for his musings. But we've got you covered. You can read some of Adam's work at the California Literary ReviewOgeeku and Fuzzy Memories.

See you guys next week when Next Gen News returns to some sense of normalcy (maybe).

*It's the only era of gaming Witney knows (we pity him).
