When you think of April you think of Easter and Spring Break, right? Easter bunnies and beach bunnies? Well, now I'm adding golf to that list, and a guy named Bubba. Bubba Watson. Your newest Masters champion, took the tournament on Sunday in a dramatic sudden-death playoff to defeat Louis Oost-hazen (Oosthuizen) after an unlikely but thrilling gap wedge shot that he had to hook to get out of the woods. The amazing shot landed just 10 feet from the hole, setting up a par for the win. It is Watson's first Master's win, but with a guy that owns one of the original 'General Lee's' from the 'Duke's Of Hazzard,' I think it's safe to say Bubba has been a baller for quite some time.

NBA point guard legend Isiah Thomas has been dismissed as the head coach at Florida International. After failed stints in the NBA while coaching the Pacers and Knicks, Thomas is now on the job hunt again after going 26-65 in three seasons for the Panthers. The former Piston, who had two years left on his contract, said that 'this is the most surprising thing that has happened to me in basketball.'

And last week we briefly mentioned that Arkansas head coach Bobby Petrino was in a motorcycle crash, but seemed to have been OK. Well, now news has been released that may prove otherwise, at least in his personal life. Petrino failed to mention that he had a 25-year-old employee with him on his bike during the time of the crash. Jessica Dorrell, a woman that Petrino had just hired on his staff, and has been said to have had 'inappropriate relations' with, was with Petrino during the crash. Petrino is married with four children and has a morals-clause in his contract that may now lead to his dismissal with the news of this scandalous  relationship being disclosed . Currently, the head coach is on administrative leave while the university makes their decision on which steps to take moving forward.

And now for the speed round!

Brittney Griner led her Baylor Bears to a perfect 40-0 season after defeating Notre Dame for the NCAA women's basketball title, while Kentucky defeated Kansas 67-59 in the men's championship.

UConn's men's basketball team lost it's final appeal on a waiver of instituted academic requirements. That will likely keep them out of the upcoming 2013 NCAA tournament.

Boston College won their 5th National hockey title after beating Ferris State (Bueller…Bueller…) 4-1 on Saturday.

Tampa Bay's Steven Stamkos became only the 19th player in NHL history to join the 60-goal club.

And in Dallas, the Mavericks are letting-go the lethargic Lamar Odom.

It's been another busy week in sports. Now it's time for you to get back to work! I'll be here next Monday, you know where to find me. Thanks for watching your Sports Fix.
