"He couldn't draw anything dull."

With Great Power: The Stan Lee Story premieres this weekend as part of EPIX's Marvel Heroes Weekend, April 27-29, a free preview of the station that includes showings of Iron Man 2, Thor and Captain America: The First Avenger. The documentary focuses on the life of Stan Lee and the hundreds of characters he created for Marvel Studios, many of whom are now the subject of blockbuster movies like, well, Iron Man 2, Thor and Captain America: The First Avenger… not to mention the actual Avengers movie coming out May 4. In this exclusive clip from the documentary, Stan Lee acknowledges the efforts of Jack 'King' Kirby, who drew and co-created many of the most popular characters in the Marvel cannon. It's a short look, and hopefully the documentary provides an deeper look at Kirby, as well as the many other artists who brought Stan's work to the world.
