Being a teenage phenom can bring a lot of attention. With that attention can also come a lot of headaches when looking to do normal tasks such as, say, go to prom.
For Lexi Thompson, budding LPGA star, that disadvantage is being turned on its head as she has embraces her fame and is using it to get the best date she can possibly get.
With her high school prom coming up and without a date, Thompson decided to go viral in looking for Mr. Right to take her to prom. The 17-year-old posted a YouTube video inviting young military men to make a bid to be her date by sending their qualifications to her Facebook page.
As an additional plus to being the guy she chooses, Thompson has pledged to take care of all of the details, including paying for transportation for that lucky beau that catches her eye.
To be specific, Lexi is looking for a military man between 18 and 20 who is exemplary. In fact, she posted on her Facebook page that she “is looking for an extraordinary prom experience with a military date of exemplary qualities.”
Lexi Thompson is a professional golfer who has been shocking people for years. At age 12, she became the youngest golfer ever to qualify for the Women's U.S. Open. She turned pro at age 15 and on septemper 18th of last year, Thompson became the youngest winner in the history of an LPGA event at age 16. She then followed that up by being the second youngest winner of a Ladies European Tour event when she won the Dubai Ladies Masters by four strokes on December 17th of last year.
If you are a serviceman who meets her requirements and are interested, here is her Facebook page.
