Last week, Jerry O’Connell was signed to play Herman Munster in Bryan Fuller's reboot of "The Munsters;" which will be called "Mockingbird Lane." And now the role of Herman's wife, Lily has finally been filled as well.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Portia de Rossi has made a deal to play Lily Munster, a part made famous by Yvonne De Carlo in the original "Munsters" series. With the addition of de Rossi, the entire Munster family has now been cast including Eddie Izzard as Grandpa Munster, Mason Cook as Eddie Munster and Charity Wakefield as Marilyn Munster.

Actress Mariana Klaveno was said to have previously been cast as Lily for this project, but ABC Studios' refusal to release her from the "Devious Maids" pilot or downgrade her to recurring status ultimately cost her the part which went to de Rossi.

De Rossi is well known for her roles on television, particularly her stints on "Ally McBeal" "Arrested Development," "Nip/Tuck" and "Better Off Ted." She has also appeared in Scream 2, Dead & Breakfast, The Invisibles, Stigmata and "The Twilight Zone."

Fuller is executive producing "Mockingbird Lane" and writing the pilot episode; which will be directed by Bryan Singer (X-Men). "Mockingbird Lane" is expected to launch on NBC at midseason in early 2013.
