Chad Ochocinco has been many things over the years as he has battled to be the center of attention as well as getting into the endzone. From talented wide receiver to reality show 'star', Ocho has made a name for himself that has surpassed most others at his position before him, though not always in a good way. Now, the man who so famously changed his last name to his jersey number can add another checkmark to his sterling career: husband.
Despite a huge fail of a proposal — the guy couldn't stop playing Call of Duty (but who can, really) — Ocho's fiance, reality star Evelyn Lozada, really went through with their wedding and followers of Chad got an up close look at the athlete's mental state leading up to, during, and after the big occasion as he tweeted the experience the whole way through.
Here are some of Ocho's tweets from that time.
What if @EvelynLozada is a runaway bride when I get out there and I'm stuck looking good all by myself… did I mention looking good?
I'm breathing like a pregnant lady in lamaze class right now… I was hoping continuing to tweet with y'all support would calm me down
Here we go…. Proverbs 18:22… I love you guys… If I do it right the 1st time I won't have to do it again… Turn up…
Y'all still there? How many times is Eve gonna change outfits… Is this normal to have more than 1 outfit besides the wedding gown?
Well…she's on outfit #4 and i'm stuck in this damn tux
…i can't believe i just got married
Congratulations to the newly minted bride and groom, and though it's very hard to gauge the honesty of a personality so out for attention like Chad's, it really looked like he was awed and humbled by the experience. From his tweets the next morning, however, it seems the first real day of being a husband kinda started up on a bland note.
Small issue,I'm the only person that didn't/doesn't drink alcohol n every 1 is wasted including my WIFE, can't relate 2 this shit, now what?
Let's hope that if the new couple ever decide to start a family that we can get the play by play of that one in the delivery room!
